SWATCH X OMEGA BIOCERAMIC MOONSWATCH MISSION TO MERCURY

The OMEGA x Swatch Bioceramic MoonSwatch Mission to Mercury, reference SO33A100, interprets the Speedmaster Moonwatch design through a darker, high-contrast palette. The deep-grey Bioceramic case is paired with black elements, white markings and a metallic-grey VELCRO® strap.

The model uses a quartz chronograph movement inside a 42 mm case, with a thickness of 13.25 mm and a lug-to-lug distance of 47.30 mm.

Deep-grey Bioceramic and black details

The case is made from Swatch Bioceramic, a composite material developed by Swatch consisting of two-thirds ceramic and one-third bio-sourced material derived from castor oil. Its surface has the characteristic matte, silky finish of the material.

Mission to Mercury uses a dark-grey shade, deeper than the grey of Mission to the Moon. The subdials and bezel are black, while white chronograph markings create a strong contrast.

This combination of deep grey, black and white is the main colour element that distinguishes reference SO33A100 from other Missions in the collection.

Black bezel, tachymeter and subdials

The black bezel incorporates a white tachymeter scale, while the chronograph seconds hand and subdial hands repeat the same light tone.

The dial features the OMEGA x Swatch, Speedmaster and MoonSwatch logos, together with the three recessed subdials that characterise the chronograph configuration.

Among the elements drawn from the Speedmaster Moonwatch is the characteristic “dot over 90” detail on the tachymeter scale. The bio-sourced crystal also features the Swatch S integrated at the centre.

The hour and minute hands, chronograph seconds hand and indices use Super-LumiNova® to improve legibility in the dark.

Quartz chronograph and metallic-grey strap

Mission to Mercury uses a quartz chronograph movement and retains the typical structure of the original MoonSwatch models with chronograph pushers, three subdials and tachymeter scale.

The model is completed by a metallic-grey VELCRO® strap, selected in a shade that complements the case while remaining distinct enough to create variation between surfaces.

Swatch states a water resistance of 3 bar.
