SWATCH X OMEGA BIOCERAMIC MOONSWATCH MISSION TO PLUTO

The OMEGA x Swatch Bioceramic MoonSwatch Mission to Pluto, reference SO33M101, reinterprets the Speedmaster Moonwatch design through a combination of light grey, eggshell and burgundy tones. The light Bioceramic case is paired with a dark-grey VELCRO® strap, creating a strong contrast with the dial and subdials.

The most distinctive colour feature of Mission to Pluto is the burgundy used on the three subdials and bezel, combined with black and white details that make this reference immediately distinguishable from the other Missions in the collection.

Light-grey Bioceramic and eggshell dial

The case is made from Swatch Bioceramic, a composite material developed by Swatch and consisting of two-thirds ceramic and one-third bio-sourced material derived from castor oil. Its surface has the characteristic matte, silky finish of the material.

Mission to Pluto uses a cool light-grey case, while the dial has an eggshell tone. The pairing creates a neutral base that allows the burgundy elements to stand out more clearly.

The hour and minute hands are two-tone, white and black, while the central chronograph seconds hand is black.

Burgundy subdials and bezel

The three burgundy subdials are among the most characteristic elements of reference SO33M101 and repeat the shade used on the bezel.

The hands of the subdials at 10 and 2 o'clock are black, while the hand of the subdial at 6 o'clock is white. This alternation of black, white and burgundy emphasises the chronograph structure of the dial.

The bezel incorporates a white tachymeter scale and retains the characteristic “dot over 90” detail from the OMEGA Speedmaster Moonwatch design language.

Quartz chronograph and dark-grey VELCRO strap

Mission to Pluto uses a quartz chronograph movement. The case measures 42 mm in diameter, 13.25 mm thick and 47.30 mm lug to lug.

The bio-sourced crystal features the characteristic Swatch S integrated at the centre, while the circular pattern on the outer dial ring and subdials repeats other details shared across the MoonSwatch family.

The hour and minute hands, chronograph seconds hand and indices use Super-LumiNova® for improved legibility in the dark.

The model is completed by a dark-grey VELCRO® strap and has a stated water resistance of 3 bar.
