SWATCH X OMEGA BIOCERAMIC MOONSWATCH MISSION TO THE MOON

The OMEGA x Swatch Bioceramic MoonSwatch Mission to the Moon, reference SO33M100, is the MoonSwatch model that most directly echoes the colour language of the OMEGA Speedmaster Moonwatch. The grey Bioceramic case, black dial, black bezel and white markings create an understated, strongly contrasted configuration.

The chronograph uses a quartz movement and is completed by a black VELCRO® strap. The case measures 42 mm in diameter, 13.25 mm thick and 47.30 mm lug to lug.

Grey Bioceramic and black dial

The case is made from Swatch Bioceramic, a composite material developed by Swatch consisting of two-thirds ceramic and one-third bio-sourced material derived from castor oil. Its surface has the characteristic matte, silky finish of Bioceramic.

On Mission to the Moon, the case uses a steel-grey shade. The name describes the colour rather than the material: the case is not made from steel, but from Bioceramic.

The black dial carries the OMEGA x Swatch, Speedmaster and MoonSwatch logos, together with the three recessed subdials typical of the chronograph configuration.

Black bezel, tachymeter and Super-LumiNova

The bezel is made from black Bioceramic and incorporates a white tachymeter scale with the characteristic “dot over 90” detail, one of the design elements drawn from the Speedmaster Moonwatch.

The main hands and markings are also white, increasing contrast against the black dial. The hour and minute hands, chronograph seconds hand and hour markers use Super-LumiNova® for visibility in the dark.

The crystal is made from bio-sourced material and features the characteristic Swatch “S” engraved at the centre.

Quartz chronograph and VELCRO strap

Mission to the Moon uses a quartz chronograph movement. The layout of the pushers, three subdials and tachymeter scale retains the visual references of the Speedmaster while reinterpreting them through Swatch materials and construction.

The strap is black VELCRO® and completes the model's grey, black and white combination. The watch has a stated water resistance of 3 bar.
