SWATCH X OMEGA BIOCERAMIC MOONSWATCH MISSION TO THE SUN

The OMEGA x Swatch Bioceramic MoonSwatch Mission to the Sun, reference SO33J100, interprets the Speedmaster Moonwatch design through one of the brightest palettes in the collection. The vivid yellow Bioceramic case is paired with a gold-tone dial with a sun-brushed finish, white subdials and bezel, and orange chronograph details.

The model uses a quartz chronograph movement and is completed by a white VELCRO® strap. The case measures 42 mm in diameter, 13.25 mm thick and 47.30 mm lug to lug.

Vivid yellow Bioceramic and sun-brushed dial

The case is made from Swatch Bioceramic, a composite material developed by Swatch and consisting of two-thirds ceramic and one-third bio-sourced material derived from castor oil. Its surface has the characteristic matte, silky finish of the material.

On Mission to the Sun, the case uses a vivid yellow shade, while the central dial is gold-tone with a sun-brushed finish. The term gold therefore describes the colour and visual finish of the dial, not the use of gold as a material.

The dial carries the OMEGA x Swatch, Speedmaster and MoonSwatch signatures, together with the three recessed subdials of the chronograph layout.

White subdials and orange details

Colour contrast is one of the most distinctive features of reference SO33J100. The central chronograph seconds hand, the three subdial hands and the tachymeter scale are orange.

The hour and minute hands, indices, subdials and bezel are white. This combination of yellow, gold, white and orange defines the specific visual identity of Mission to the Sun.

The bezel also retains the characteristic “dot over 90” detail on the tachymeter scale, one of the elements drawn from the OMEGA Speedmaster Moonwatch design language.

Quartz chronograph and white VELCRO strap

Mission to the Sun uses a quartz chronograph movement. The case measures 42 mm in diameter, 13.25 mm thick and 47.30 mm lug to lug.

The crystal is made from bio-sourced material and features the Swatch S integrated at the centre. The dial and subdials also feature the circular pattern characteristic of the MoonSwatch family.

The hour and minute hands, central chronograph seconds hand and indices use Super-LumiNova® to improve legibility in the dark.

The model is completed by a white VELCRO® strap and has a stated water resistance of 3 bar.
