The OMEGA x Swatch Bioceramic MoonSwatch Mission to the Moon Moonshine Gold – Beaver Moon, reference SO33M102-111, is a special interpretation of Mission to the Moon released in November 2023 as part of the Mission to Moonshine Gold series.

The model retains the grey-and-black configuration of Mission to the Moon but adds one specific element: the central chronograph seconds hand coated in OMEGA Moonshine™ Gold, reinterpreted with a Beaver Moon-inspired detail and accompanied by a hidden element visible in the dark.

Mission to Moonshine Gold dedicated to the Beaver Moon

During 2023, OMEGA and Swatch developed eleven Mission to Moonshine Gold editions, each characterised by a different interpretation of the central chronograph seconds hand. The hands for the various versions were produced in connection with the monthly full moons.

The November version is dedicated to the Beaver Moon. Swatch specifies that this series of hands was produced exclusively during the October full moon, ahead of the model's release the following month.

The distinctive hand design is what immediately separates reference SO33M102-111 from the other 2023 Mission to Moonshine Gold editions.

The centrepiece of the watch is the chronograph seconds hand coated in OMEGA Moonshine™ Gold. Its design is inspired by the Beaver Moon and includes a particular treatment on the back of the hand that visually references a gnawed element.

There is also a secret detail that glows in the dark, a feature specifically identified by Swatch for this version.

It is important to distinguish this detail from the rest of the watch: the case is not made of gold. The structure remains in Swatch Bioceramic, while Moonshine™ Gold applies to the special chronograph hand.

Grey and black Mission to the Moon base

The Beaver Moon uses the configuration of Mission to the Moon, with a grey Bioceramic case, black dial and black bezel with a white tachymeter scale.

The three-subdial layout, chronograph pushers and characteristic dot over 90 reference the visual language of the OMEGA Speedmaster Moonwatch, reinterpreted through Swatch materials and construction.

The model uses a quartz chronograph movement and is completed by a black VELCRO® strap. The case measures 42 mm in diameter and has a stated water resistance of 3 bar.
